What is IELTS?
IELTS (The International English Language Testing System) is one of the most popular proficiency tests for the English Language. With over three million tests taken in the past year, IELTS is appropriate for study, work and migration. In more than 140 countries around the world, IELTS findings are recognized by more than 10,000 organizations, including educational institutions, employers, professional societies, and governments. The IELTS test content is created by an international team of experts and is subjected to extensive testing to ensure that the test is fair and unbiased. Depending on the organization you’re applying to and your future plans, you will take IELTS Academic or IELTS General Training.
Test Format for IELTS?
Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking are all tested in the IELTS exam. The Listening, Reading, and Writing exams will all be taken on the same day, one after the other, with no breaks. Your Speaking test can be scheduled on the same day as the other three tests, or up to seven days before or after them, depending on your test center. The whole test takes less than three hours.
